I’m Zion. I love technology, as do a lot of other people, and use TypeScript as my main language. Languages / Frameworks which I program in:
- TypeScript (I just said this)
- React - I love React, it makes web development much more fluid, even if it is a large package by itself
- Next.js - Nice server framework, good job Vercel
- Vite - Vite is nice and comfy, I can run quick test websites with it
- Fastify - I built WebGFA on Express.js, and converting from Express to Fastify wasn’t all that difficult, basically the same technologies
- Python - I don’t primarly use or love Python, especially because of the way that indentation works, but otherwise a great language and amazing for AI/ML
I’m still learning, but I don’t see a need to learn any other programming languages other than C++ or Rust for native app development, but Electron does exist and definitely works well on good computers.
Currently, I use Cursor as my main editor (what a surprise) and have a Claude Pro (20$ per month) and ChatGPT Plus (20$ per month) subscription. I also use t3 Code (thank you Theo), but find myself either using Cursor’s native agents, Claude Code IDE extension, or the Codex IDE extension, because they feel nicer to me and work really well in the codebase.
I’ll post more later, but I’m not really sure what to post.
Thank you to Theo from t3.gg for the inspiration to give myself a website and accelerating myself into Next.js and React, I probably would’ve stuck to native HTML + CSS otherwise (what a fool I was..)
